Organically grown trust

The beginning more than 40 years ago was actually the acquisition of existing know-how, on the one hand, and the continuation of the development of sawmill equipment, on the other. Modifications and repairs to existing systems made the start. The word quickly spread in the industry: "You can trust the Fischers and their people, they know their stuff." Our first plant clients told us what equipment they needed for their sawmill – and SAB designed, built, and successfully commissioned their first chipper plant. This first generation developed the expertise that characterizes SAB today and makes customers successful far beyond the borders of Europe.
